On Wednesday, I had the opportunity to take portraits of the Melvin family. They have six children, and were great. Our only real issue during the shoot was the sun. I had never been to the location they chose before that evening, and I didn't realize that because we would be at the top of a hill, the lighting - which would usually be great at the time of evening we did it - was very intense. It made things a little tricky with shadows and squinty eyes, but they were troopers and we still got some beautiful portraits :).
