The Beautiful San Antonio Temple

One of the best parts of our move to Texas, was that it meant that we lived less than half a mile from the beautiful San Antonio Temple. I have always loved taking pictures of beautiful buildings, but especially temples. And this temple has the most amazing stained glass windows, that I did my best to try and get into a lot of my shots. I love how this shoot turned out, and my next goal is to try and get pictures of the temple at sunset.

Sunrise on the Gulf

We took a family vacation to Port Aransas on the Gulf Coast, and each day we were there, I took a morning walk along the beach. Watching the sun rise over the ocean is especially spectacular, and it was also wonderful to discover all the little bits of nature, like the birds, or even a broken sand dollar. I never get tired of taking pictures of the ocean.

Beautiful Pennsylvania in the Spring

It had been way too long since I had the time to go out and take some nature pictures.  While I was out taking my daughter's portraits, it was the perfect chance for me to get some shots.  I love taking pictures of wildflowers, and even old bridges and buildings, but I was especially excited to get some pictures of a Baltimore Oriole.  They are so beautiful, and I caught it holding still and on the wing.  It made my week :).

Blue Skies at the Philadelphia Pennsylvania Temple

Back in October, I went to Philadelphia for the day with my niece, and I got the most beautiful shot of the Philadelphia Pennsylvania Temple for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

I cannot express to you how much I love this amazing building, and not just because of how beautiful it is, or how fun it is to photograph, but because of what it represents to me.  And if you would like a copy, it is available for digital download in my Etsy shop - Just click on the link.

The Beautiful Philadelphia Temple

This week, I was in Philadelphia, and I took advantage of the opportunity - and the gorgeous lighting - to get some beautiful pictures of the Philadelphia Temple.  It made me so happy to get these pictures, even if it meant climbing on the fence on a freeway overpass to get the perfect shot ;).

Spring Along the Rail Trail

Landscape photography is one of my great loves, but as a busy mom, I don't have the time I would love to have to devote to it.  Because of this, I am so grateful for the chances that I have to do it - like the other night when I was out on the Heritage Rail Trail.  Everything has exploded with green this past month, and it is so amazingly beautiful.

The Amazing Philadelphia Temple

This past fall, my family was privileged to be a part of the dedication of the Philadelphia Pennsylvania Temple.  It is a very special place to our family, and so we really wanted to have a large print of it above our fireplace in our home.  But I couldn't find any good pictures to use - the temple was too new.  And so, in December, when I went to Philadelphia, I took my own pictures, and I love how they turned out.  It was perfect, and hangs in our home now.  Here are some more of the shots of the Philly Temple that I got as well.

Beautiful Pennsylvania

If I didn't already mention here before, but I have moved to Pennsylvania.  And Pennsylvania is absolutely beautiful - rolling hills, forests, farmers fields, and beauty everywhere you look.  I feel like it is a constant feast for the eyes.  I love it so much, but because we were busy moving into our new home and overwhelmed with that, I found our gorgeous autumn slipping away before I could get it on camera.  And so, I snuck out with my three year old, and we went on a hunt to get pictures of the beauty that is my new home.

And here is one of me with my little guy - so you know that I am not always behind the camera ;).
