Sweet Holland Grace

I love taking newborn portraits - there is something magical about capturing the first few weeks of a baby's life.  And even though newborn shoots can be a little tricky, I always love the results.  Holland Grace was the sweetest.  We did end up doing her shoot in two parts, since the first time, she decided to be wide awake the whole time, but it meant that we got a wonderful combination of sleeping and bright eyed portraits of her.  I love how they turned out!

Sweet Ellie Rose

A few weeks ago, I had the best time taking portraits of my great niece, little Ellie.  She is just the most adorable little girl, and with her gorgeous blue eyes and her adorable red bow and shoes, she was the best.  And when she was really happy, she would stick out her tongue, which was even cuter.

Baby Boy

Not only did I get to take family portraits of the Meiler family this week, but I was also able to take some baby portraits of their adorable little boy.  He was such a sweetheart, and surprisingly patient with all the pictures and outfit changes.  And we even snuck in a few pictures of his big sister.

In Utah with the Cherepovich Family

Last week, I happened to be in Utah for the afternoon, and so I was able to sneak out and take family portraits for the Cherepovich family.  We have known each other since before my daughter was born, and have stayed in touch all these years.  I was so happy to get to take portraits for them, and although the weather had turned cold, we were able to get some beautiful shots.

In the Snowy Forest

On Saturday, I took portraits of the Smith family.  We had scheduled the shoot a few months before, and we had never anticipated all the snow we would have in February and early March.  So when we got to Fox Run Park, there was still 6 inches of snow on the ground.  It made it a little tricky for picture taking, and it made it a little cold for the babies.  We still got some great shots though :).

Baby Marinda

I took newborn portraits of Marinda a few days ago, and she was such a cute little baby.  She was not at all happy about having her pictures taken, and was especially unhappy any time we changed her clothes.  Luckily, we were able to calm her down and get some pretty pictures :).
