Elena the Senior

Last week, I had the fun opportunity to take senior portraits for Elena, a really lovely young woman. We did them at the beautiful Japanese Tea Garden in downtown San Antonio. I loved the variety of textures and plant life, even in the winter. This rock wall was especially cool. And I just love how the pictures turned out.

Lovely Lauren

I took Senior Portraits of the most lovely young woman the other night.  Not only was she gorgeous on the outside, but she was so sweet and kind. And we had a fabulous time taking her pictures at the gorgeous Eilan Hotel at the Rim.

Senior Portraits at the Pearl

Senior Portraits are some of my very favorite pictures to take, and I had a great time taking Ryan's portraits.  I met he and his mom at The Pearl, here in San Antonio, and had a great time doing his portraits. The Pearl was crazy busy, with at least ten other groups taking pictures, let alone the tourists and people shopping and eating there, and so the biggest challenge was to take his portraits and make it look like he was the only person there.  Luckily, they came out great.

Caleb, the Senior

My nephew Caleb is amazing, and I loved getting the chance to take his Senior portraits while I was in Twin Falls.  I can't believe he is a senior this year, and it really goes to show how fast time flies.  He is such a great kid, and I still remember when my sister adopted him as a brand new little baby.

Michelle, the Beautiful Senior

For years now, I have been taking senior portraits for my sister, Cheryl's kids, and so it was very special to take portraits of my beautiful niece, Michelle - Cheryl's youngest of her seven kids.  Most of them had their portraits taken in the Snake River Canyon, and Michelle loved to get to have hers taken in the same place. She looked beautiful, and so did the canyon.  And her cute little puppy, Duke, even got to be in a couple pictures ;).

Sunrise at the Ocean with Lily

All these years of taking portraits of my little Lily, she is finally grown up enough that I am taking her Senior Portraits.  Where did the time go???  She has grown into the most amazing and beautiful young adult, and I can't let myself believe that she will be going to college next year.

For her portraits, we decided to do them at sunrise at the beach, as Lily has always loved the ocean, ever since she was a baby and I would take her to the beach in Monterey.  I just love how they turned out, and I had the hardest time picking my favorites.

Sweet and Sassy at Seventeen

My daughter Lily turned seventeen, which I still can't quite wrap my head around.  She is going to be a senior, and so although these aren't technically her Senior Portraits,  they are her birthday portraits right before her senior year.  She has truly grown into a beautiful and amazing young lady.

Spencer, the Senior

I went out to Twin Falls, Idaho this summer to visit family, and while I was out there, I took senior portraits for my nephew, Spencer.  He is number six of seven kids, and I have been able to take senior portraits for all but one of them (I lived in Georgia and so it was a little hard to make that happen - ha ha!).  I love taking senior portraits, and especially for my nieces and nephews - it is just so much fun! And I just love how his portraits turned out.
