I had the best time over Christmas break taking family portraits of the Hatch family. It was a little chilly that day, but we had fun in spite of it :). Those kids are so full of character, it was fun capturing their personalities.

My son Derek just turned seventeen, and it blows me away how much he has grown up this past year (And how tall he has gotten). We took his pictures near the San Antonio Temple, and he looked so handsome. I love the shot I took of him staring at the temple over the ridge - so sweet. And of course, we had to get a jumping picture - he does love those.
While I was taking senior portraits of Elena, we got a few family shots for the family - even if their oldest son is gone on his mission right now. The Japanese Tea Garden is such a gorgeous location!
Last week, I had the fun opportunity to take senior portraits for Elena, a really lovely young woman. We did them at the beautiful Japanese Tea Garden in downtown San Antonio. I loved the variety of textures and plant life, even in the winter. This rock wall was especially cool. And I just love how the pictures turned out.
