Lily at the Temple

 

My sweet Lily is about to start a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and as part of that, we had the opportunity for her to go through the temple. It was such an amazing experience, and later that day, the two of us went back over to the Twin Falls Temple to take some special portraits of her. I especially loved that there were lilies blooming there on the grounds, so I could get a picture of Lily with the lilies.

There is something magical about capturing the connection and love of a newly married couple, and it was especially so as I took pictures of my nephew, Adam, and his wife, Cindy.  He looked handsome, and she looked truly beautiful, and I felt privileged to get to take their portraits.

 

Sweet Savannah is 8!

I had the most wonderful time taking baptism pictures of a sweet girl, Savannah, last week at the Twin Falls Idaho Temple.  She has chosen to be baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and we were taking her portraits in her special white dress.  She was the sweetest little girl, and we got some gorgeous pictures of her.

Autumn at the Twin Falls Idaho Temple

It has been a beautiful autumn in Twin Falls so far.  My favorite part about it, has been the gorgeous red leaves on the trees by the temple.  I had been admiring them for a few weeks, when I realized that I had better get pictures of them before the leaves all fell.  My mom also wanted pictures, and so we went on a photo field trip together to the temple.

I love how the pictures turned out.

I really love this one of the Temple gates and the path.  It's like an invitation to the Temple.

As we were heading back to the car, I saw these roses, and had to get this shot with the temple in the background.
