Garrisons

The Garrison Family were another family that we had scheduled their portraits months ago, but the rain kept thwarting us.  A few days before we moved from Colorado for good, the stars aligned and everything worked out - the weather was gorgeous, we didn't have other plans, and the boys didn't have baseball games.  And I am so grateful that things came together, because I cannot imagine not having taken their portraits.  They turned out amazing, and they were such a fun family.  The lighting was gorgeous, everything was super green because of all the rain - it was the perfect night of photography :).

A Handsome Nine Year Old Boy

My son, Derek, is such a sweetheart, and I can't believe he is already nine years old.  Where did the time go??  I had a great time taking his birthday portraits, and he looked as handsome as ever :).

My Parents

When my parents were visiting this past week, I had the chance to do a photo shoot with them.  I have often taken pictures of them, but this was the first time I did a full session.  We had a great time, and I loved catching little moments when they were laughing with each other.  It was especially nice to do this, because with my dad just turning 77, and also just having found out that he has cancer, it made the pictures that much more precious.

Out in the Country

I had such a great time taking portraits of the Hoard family last week.  We couldn't ask for more beautiful weather, and we got some wonderful pictures.

In Love

When I got back from my family vacation, I had a wonderful photo shoot for the sweetest couple.  They drove down from Parker, and we went out on the prairie and to that new barn I had discovered.  It was the perfect setting, and I love the pictures we got!!

Out with the Dalton's

I love the Dalton family - they are such sweet people, and I had such a wonderful time taking their portraits again.  We tried out a new location for me, which was very fun, and was especially cool, because it is so close to my house.  I love how the pictures turned out :).
