Wild Horses

When one of my new friends mentioned that there were wild horses in the area, I never expected to see them in the open plain next to my daughter's school.  I quickly rushed home for my camera, and thanks to my telephoto lens, was able to snap these pictures.  I wish I could have done more, but I was making them pretty nervous.  I am still pinching myself that it actually happened :).  It was like something out of "The Man from Snowy River."

And I noticed this lonely little wildflower, and had to snap a picture of it as well :).
