January's Photo Field Trip - Downtown

For some reason I thought I had posted this already, but I guess in the craziness that was the last half of January, I completely forgot.  Last month, I led a photo field trip to one of my favorite spots in downtown Colorado Springs - there is a flower garden, train tracks, a cool bridge, a park, etc, and all right together. 

Since I have now taught most of my friends the basics of using their cameras, this time I made them look closer at what they wanted to photograph and to try a new perspective, and I made sure to take my own advice :).  I loved the results.

 

 

 

 

And yes, my friend even snuck a picture of me teaching, and then they had me pose for them a few times.  Just another reminder how I prefer being BEHIND the camera :).  It was a fantastic day.
