Playing with the Kempers

Last week I had a blast taking portraits for the Kemper family.  They were game for anything, and EmilieAn had some fantastic ideas of her own as well.  That made for some great shots.  It also meant that I took over 800 pictures (twice what I usually shoot).  That made it pretty tricky to narrow it down to my nomal 50-60 shots - I had to settle for 80 :).  If you look at the ones I posted, you will see why it was so hard to choose . . .

 




 

And this next one was the most authentic kiss I have ever shot of a couple - love it!






And this last one I caught as they were walking away.  I know it may sound strange, but it felt symbolic to me, as Brian is so often away with his job in the Army, that EmilieAn is alone with the kids.  the best part is, that they are always headed in the same direction and always come together eventually.
