Sweet Lily is 12

I don't know how my sweet baby girl turned twelve, but she did.  She is truly amazing, and I don't know what I would do without her and her fun and imaginative personality.  And what a beauty she is growing up to be :).

We are right in the middle of moving out of our house in Colorado, but somehow, on our way home from church, we were gifted perfect lighting.  I went home and grabbed my camera, and we went out on the prairie and got these gorgeous pictures with Pikes Peak in the background.  I love how they turned out.

Josh - The Senior

I took Senior portraits for Josh the other night.  He is a great kid, and used to mow my lawn when my husband was deployed.  We had a great time, and was especially excited to get pictures with his crazy "dirt board."  I had never seen one before, but it was pretty cool, especially when he did his tricks.

Wildflower Summer

I absolutely love my Colorado wildflowers.  Every May, I start watching for them to start appearing, and then by the second week in June, they are out in full force.

This year, I wanted to take my time and wander through the area finding my flowers, but sadly, life was too busy.  Because of that, I made due with 30 minutes one evening, out on the prairie near my home.  I was blessed to find so many different kinds, including cactus flowers and even a tiny wild rose bush.  I was so happy with the shots I got.
