Running Away from the Rain

On Tuesday night, I took portraits for a super fun family, the Smiths.  I am so glad that they were so willing to go with the flow, because when we met at Fox Run Park, it was pouring rain with a touch of thunder and lightning.  Not portrait weather.  So I drove toward the sunny skies, and they followed me.  And when I would randomly pull over, they trusted me that the spot on the side of the road was perfect for some portraits :).

We had to change locations more than once, since the rain caught up to us, but it was well worth it, and I love how the pictures turned out :).
